Wedding Bells

On July 20th, Aunt Karen married Fur. Fur used to stand for Future-Uncle-Ron...but now that he is no longer an uncle in the future, it stands for Fantastic-Uncle-Ron. Or Flashy-Uncle-Ron. Or Fidgety-Uncle-Ron. Or whatever seems appropriate at the time.

Trying on the Tux

Aunt Karen and Fur asked Connor to be a Junior Groomsman in the ceremony. Much of July was spent getting ready for the wedding, including shopping and trying on clothes. Connor was bored sometimes, but overall, he was a great groomsman.

Rehearsal

At the rehearsal, everyone was busy taking pictures and goofing around between all the serious stuff. Connor took one of his Transformers and hung out with Fur's nephew, Bobby. Bobby quickly became one of Connor's favorite dudes.

In the Ceremony - Jr. Groomsman

The ceremony was beautiful. Aunt Karen was beautiful. The decorations were beautiful. Fur was...Fur. Connor knew that by standing up with Fur as a groomsman that he was agreeing with Aunt Karen and Uncle Ron that getting married was a good idea!

When he got tired of standing, he would crouch to get a better view and relax his legs. Dad performed the ceremony and Mom sang the special music. It was definitely a family affair.

At the reception, Connor participated in all the fun as well. He tried to catch the garter. Someone else beat him to it though. And he danced with Fur's neice Ashley. He had a wonderful time.

Congratulations, Aunt Karen and Fur!
