Our little boy is now a graduate! Connor had moved from kindergarten to 1st grade. Of course, that's a formal distinction...it's the grade he'd be in if we put him in school this fall. Mom homeschools Connor, so he's academically ahead in almost every measurable way.
To celebrate moving on, we took Connor to Chuck E. Cheese (every parent's favorite pizza parlor) and let him have the run of the place. We all had a good time watching him play. He also got 10 bucks and a present: a VeggieTales Bible Dictionary...
he's read it from cover to cover already. Like father, like son...and like mother, too. Both of us liked to read encyclopedias and dictionaries as kids, and Connor seems to like them almost as well as other books. If you're up for some trivial pursuit, watch out!
