It's baseball season, and Connor loves the Rockies. Of the 4 million people in Denver, he's definitely in the minority...they're not very good this year. They're currently 31 - 59, but Connor doesn't care. As long as Todd Helton stays on the team, and as long as Mom and Dad keep buying ice cream at Coors Field, he'll keep hoping.

At the Rockies playground
We've had season tickets for the past three years, but this year we decided to go a la carte. We got tired of saying "I don't really want to go to the game, but I suppose we should...since the tickets are already paid for". This season, it's been just right: 2 games. Dad took Connor to one, and Mom took him to the other. He had ice cream at both.
Connor joined the Rockies Rookies this year. That was $13 well spent! A t-shirt, hat, backpack, free tickets for him (with a paying adult), and a present each month...must be present to win.
Connor is a lot like his dad: his heinie can only stand about an hour at a time, and three seems to be his limit. During the 2 - 3 hours we're at the game, he wants to walk all the way around the stadium, look down in the bullpen, play in the kids' playground, eat ice cream (naturally), smash a penny into a Rockies slug, and buy something from one of the Coors Field gift shops. Fortunately for Mom and Dad, his ticket is free...that helps pay for the overpriced souvenirs.
