Activities 2003

Connor goes to the Rec Center for gymnastics once a week. He likes it, and so do Mom and Dad...he learns something new, has a place to use some of that Toddler Energy, and gains coordination and balance. At gymnastics he is, of course, either Buzz Lightyear or Spider-Man. He's never, ever Connor.

Connor has been making the most of the warmer weather. He plays with construction equipment in the backyard, helps Gram with dandelions, and practices his golf swing...he's nuts about golf. He's almost done with potty training, so Mom and Dad introduced goal-setting.

When Connor goes 10 days with no accidents he gets his first REAL kid-sized golf club...a titanium putter with a graphite shaft. When that's done, he'll work on the next one: a 9-iron...and after that, a driver. Then he can hit real golf balls...but only at the park. He already hits plastic golf balls over the back fence!

He's not a one-sport boy, though...he plays a basketball game with Dad where you earn a letter for missing a basket...and he of course plays "Buzz" and "Woody" and "Jesse" and "Zurg". Not only have his basketball skills increased, he now spells whatever he wants! He can write his name, and loves to type...so if you write to him, he'll write back. We promise!
