Welcome back...it's been a busy six months since our last update! Connor's birthday was a lot of fun...the theme was Thomas the Tank Engine. Not only did Connor have a Thomas birthday cake, but he actually got to MEET the big guy. He got a Thomas video game for the computer, as well as a veritable plethora of Thomas track pieces to complement his collection. Mom and Dad and Gram thought Thomas was very cool, too...he was kind enough to give us all a ride!

Other birthday highlights include his annual doctor's visit...

here's the latest specs: at that point he was 30 pounds and a yard. That's 36 inches, plus a half-inch for good measure. Right now he's 38 inches tall. We're not sure he's going to stop! There was also the first of a long string of Jonah sightings...we went to see Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie on opening night. There were at least three other theater visits before we were able to stop the madness by buying the DVD.

His first "party invitations" went out this year...he was able to invite his friends for a real birthday party at Burger King. He received lots of nice gifts and gave a few as well. It was fun...there was cupcake frosting all over him as well as everyone else in the room, and Burger King didn't seem to mind.
