It seemed like we had something to do almost every weekend this fall!

On a visit to Rocky Mountain National Park, Connor sees his first waterfall. This is about 9,000 feet up.
In September, Connor moved to the "big kid's" nursery at church. He loves to go to Sunday School, and often wants to know if we are going to church when we leave the house on a Tuesday! We also spent a day to visiting Great-Pa and Great-Gram in Colorado Springs. They are truly all fascinated with one another. We also took a trip to the Rocky Mountain National Park with Gram and Papa. We had a picnic, took a baby-sized hike to Bear Lake, saw a waterfall, fed the chipmunks, and listened to the elk herds bugling.
October was full of fun activities. Connor got to visit a local pumpkin patch twice. His favorite part was riding the tractor. He also played pumpkin bowling, went through the haystack maze, rode the tractor again, and picked out his very own pumpkin. We also celebrated Connor's second birthday. Halloween was fun! Connor dressed up as a little brown bear and delivered pumpkin and bear cookies to friends and neighbors. We are making cookie delivery a family tradition because everyone enjoys it so much!
Lots of fun activities filled up November. Connor had his two-year doctor visit. (He is still perfect in every way!) We also went with our playgroup to the zoo; we took rides on the train and the carousel during this visit. Papa and Gram took us to White Fence Farm, a restaurant/mini-amusement park. Connor got a close up look at sheep, goats, and chickens as well as enjoying the playground. He also checked out his very first library book while attending their local Story Time. On November 25, Mom and Dad dedicated Connor in the morning church service. It was a nice ceremony, and Connor was a real crowd-pleaser.
