Vacation 2007

I think it is a common thing for parents to feel that their kids are growing up quickly.

Memories

The first picture of Connor with the Easter lamb was taken in 2001. He was about 18 months old. It seems like just yesterday that the lamb was bigger than he was. Check out other pictures from 2001 in the Gallery.

Connor at Easter

I took a picture this year to show how much he's grown. Now the lamb barely reaches Connor's knee! How time flies. Interesting fact...the Easter lamb was originally purchased by Gram. She called it the "Connor-consolation lamb" back when baby Connor lived far away in Idaho.

Connor is about to finish up first grade. He reads like a pro, and has earned several awards and prizes this year for how much he reads. When he's not building Legos, he often has his nose buried in a book. Sounds a lot like Mom and Dad!

Connor's first lost tooth

Another mile marker we've reached was Connor's first lost tooth. He actually lost this back in November (we don't always update the website the way we'd like to). He was wonderfully excited to see what the tooth fairy left under his pillow. As he continues to grow and mature, we are increasingly amazed by our little (big?) pickle.
